A team from the Sierra Leone Bottling Company Limited, headed by the country Manager Israel T Okujagu and their Marketing Manager Ali Amor, visited the University of Makeni on Wednesday 26th October 2016. Addressing the team the Vice Chancellor of UNIMAK Rev. Professor Joe Turay welcomed the team with a brief account of the history of the university and said that their presence in the university will enhanced the establishment of a partnership between the two institutions that will contribute in the development of the education sector.

Addressing vice chancellor and staff of UNIMAK inside the university staff room country manager Israel T. Okujagu thanked the university management team and the vice chancellor for inviting them to the university. He said Coco Cola which they are representing in Sierra Leone under the Sierra Leone Bottling Company Limited has a corporate social responsibility they always fulfil in the area of health, education and women empowerment.

The team was also taken on a conducted tour of the Fatima and Yoni campuses. In the Fatima campus the team addressed the newly admitted MBA students, and in the Yoni campus the team visited the laboratory, the public health new building and the law department.
