Founder of UNIMAK celebrates the Thirtieth Anniversary of his Episcopal Ordination

On 4th February 2017, George Biguzzi, Emeritus Bishop of Makeni and Founder of the University of Makeni celebrated the thirtieth anniversary of his episcopal ordination to the Diocese of Makeni in the Cathedral church of Our Lady of Fatima, Makeni The happy occasion was also his 81st birthday, and in his speech of thanks Bishop George recalled many happy times since he first came to Sierra Leone in 1974. British High Commissioner to Sierra Leone visits UNIMAK

Update on UNIMAK Infectious Diseases Research Laboratory

The UNIMAK Infectious Diseases Research Laboratory (IDRL) was officially opened on the Yoni campus on the 22nd of January 2016 as a collaboration between the University of Makeni, Sierra Leone and the University of Cambridge, United Kingdom.
