Rev. Fr. Benjamin H. Sesay currently serves as the Director of Finance and Administration at the University of Makeni, as well as the Director of CARITAS Makeni. He is a business expert, entrepreneur, startup mentor and financial analyst with over a decade of experience in financial administration, pastoral coordination, and project management. He is an excellent communicator and collaborator who establishes trust and credibility with staff across the University, Council Members, Board of Trustee, and external stakeholders, including the local business community.

In his role as the Director of Finance and Administration at the University of Makeni, Rev. Fr. Sesay is responsible for ensuring the effective management and reporting of University finances. He actively contributes to the financial planning and strategic development of the University as part of the Vice Chancellor`s team. His key responsibilities include maintaining and developing appropriate financial controls and processes across the University, preparing regular financial reports, cashflow forecasts and budgets, and managing risks. He also works closely with the Estates Manager to plan and deliver the activities needed to ensure University facilities remain fully active in the most cost-effective way.

As the Director of Caritas Makeni, Rev. Fr. Sesay oversees the entire administration of the organization and mobilizes resources for its overall operations. He has also served as an Assistant Parish Priest at Catholic Mission, Lungi, where he coordinated pastoral activities and acted as bursar for St. Joseph Secondary School.
