Ongoing ENHANCE-GSL Project Training of Trainers

The University of Makeni (UNIMAK) is pleased to announce the ongoing training of trainers for the “Enhancing Capacities for Sustainable Community Engagement” (ENHANCE-GSL) project. The training, held at Fourah Bay College in Freetown, started on Monday and will conclude on Friday, October 24, 2025.

The ENHANCE-GSL project aims to strengthen the bond between higher education institutions and societies.

The project is funded by the European Union and brings together partner universities from different countries, including UNIMAK, University of Sierra Leone and Universities from Croatia, Georgia, Slovakia etc.

The project’s general objective is to equip universities with the necessary skills and knowledge to engage with their respective non-academic communities in a timely and successful manner. The project will establish community engagement units at each partner university and enhance their capacities.

We will share photos from the training session, showcasing the participation and engagement of UNIMAK staff.
