The UNIMAK HR Director visits UGHE

On October 23, 2025, Veronica Kamara, the Human Resource Director of the University of Makeni (UNIMAK), visited the University of Global Health Equity (UGHE) office in Kigali, engaging in constructive discussions aimed at fostering collaboration between the two institutions. During her visit, Kamara was warmly received by UGHE officials, who highlighted their innovative approaches to training future health leaders. The meeting included a detailed introduction to UNIMAK’s current programs, particularly in the Faculty of Nursing and Allied Sciences. Both parties expressed enthusiasm for potential partnerships, emphasizing the departments of Nursing, Public Health, and Clinical Psychology as areas ripe for collaborative initiatives. Kamara extended her gratitude to Mercy Mwaura, UNIMAK Director of International Relations, for facilitating the meeting, marking a promising step toward enhanced educational cooperation in health-related fields.
