The University of Makeni today 28th November 2025 conducted its postgraduate orientation marking the beginning of the 2025/20 26 academic year. Registrar Foday Augustine Bangura admonished the new students on the need to be focus and avoid distractions .Director of Academic Affairs Fr.George Gbamanja and the Deputy Director of Academic Affairs Dr. CMB Jalloh addressed the students and adhered to a meaningful academic purpose for the human resource development of Sierra Leone. Many students expressed optimism in their first postgraduate studies in the University of Makeni. Students were admitted in the MBA Entrepreneurship ,MBA finance ,MBA Human Resource Management, Masters in Education, Masters in Sustainable Development ,MA in Theology and the Masters of Law(LLM)
The University of Makeni is committed to maintaining high academic standards at postgraduate level as a yard stick for economic development and the implementation of the sustainable development goals from our core values which includes teaching ,research and community engagement. Hundreds of Masters students attended this year orientation.
