UNIMAK kick start a research training

The University of Makeni (UniMak) and the University of Groningen in the Netherlands officially launched an intensive Research Methodologies training program on Monday, January 12, 2026, aimed at strengthening the academic and professional capacities of both students and staff. Vice-Chancellor Professor Joseph Turay, attended the opening ceremony, highlighted the university’s commitment to fostering a culture of rigorous inquiry and international collaboration, noting that such partnerships are vital for producing impactful research that meets global standards. The training features active participation from the staff of the Postgraduate School, ensuring that those leading advanced academic programs are equipped with modern data collection and analysis techniques.
