On June 25, 2026, the Vice Chancellor of the University of Makeni, Professor Joseph Turay, officially opened a comprehensive pedagogical training for administrative and academic staff. The training aimed at enhancing staff capacity and driving professional development in teaching and learning. The institutional initiative focuses on equipping university lecturers with advanced instructional design and modern teaching methodologies to foster a more dynamic, student-centered learning environment across all departments and administrative management. This targeted capacity-building underscores UniMak’s ongoing commitment to academic excellence and continuous faculty development.
