The University of Makeni (UNIMAK) officially launched its three-day Trade Fair on Thursday 12thFebruary, 2026, an initiative spearheaded by Director of Finance and Administration Fr. Benjamin Sesay, who expressed deep honor in hosting Chairman of the Bombali District Council and Vice Chancellor Prof. Joseph Turay for the opening ceremony. Designed as a practical module for Faculty of Commerce and Management students, the fair provides a dynamic platform for young entrepreneurs to showcase their business acumen, bridge academic theory with real-world enterprise, and embody the institution’s commitment to nurturing innovation and sustainable economic growth. Fr. Sesay extended heartfelt appreciation to partners, exhibitors, and participants, emphasizing that through such collaborative efforts, “we are shaping a generation that does not only learn business, but lives it.”
