MBA E4Impact Entrepreneurs AT UNIMAK
3RD EDITION
The University of Makeni (UNIMAK) in partnership with Catholic University of Milano (Italy) and Tangaza University College (Kenya) is inviting applications for the 3rd Edition of the MBA E4Impact entrepreneurship program.

One of Africa’s most pressing needs is to have a new kind of impact entrepreneurs, who desire to do more than just make profits. These impact entrepreneurs want to identify and solve social problems on a large scale, to touch their communities and drive a positive and sustainable change.
To respond to these challenges, the Catholic University of Milan (Italy) – the largest private University in Europe – created the MBA “E4 Impact Entrepreneurship programme”. The prestigious double-degree Master course (internationally recognized title) is offered at the University of Makeni, with a number of total and partial scholarships available.
The MBA program aims to develop Impact entrepreneurship skills, linking up the students with Local and international network of professors, partners and investors and enabling them to start-up and grow their businesses during and beyond the course. The whole course is a 12-month in class and distance session for active and inspiring leaders who want to move their ideas from a business concept to a complete business plan. The program is taught using a blended formula, a portion in the classroom (3 intensive weeks at the beginning, middle and final part of the year, plus 6 long weekends from Friday to Sunday), and the rest on-line and with on-the-field Business Coaching. This formula allows the entrepreneur to pursue the MBA without having to leave his/her profession, job or business.
The program, already achieving considerable success in Nairobi (Kenya) at Tangaza University College and in Accra (Ghana) at Catholic Institute of Business and Technology, has achieved a distinctive international reputation, being the first non-American program to receive the Ashoka Innovation Award from the Ashoka Foundation, the world’s foremost organization for the promotion of social entrepreneurship.
At UNIMAK the MBA is ending its second edition in September with highly qualified international and local lecturers and mentors who have transferred invaluable business knowledge to the entrepreneurs in the start-up and development of their businesses. Eligible candidates have business experience or a strong business attitude, an impactful idea for a new business or a small venture ongoing (particularly but not exclusively in the Agribusiness or Energy efficiency sector), commitment for Sierra Leone’s sustainable development,
